To fulfill his late-wife’s promise, Carl turns his house into an airship and heads toward Paradise Falls along a young Wilderness Explorer, Russell, by accident. Along the way, the pair runs into a talking golden retriever, Dug, and a rare bird, Kevin. The three pests follow Carl, whether he likes it or not, to Paradise Falls. They meet the famous explorer Charles F. Muntz and his pack of dogs. So the trouble begins as the four develop their trust and friendship with each other.

The storyline is sweet. An heartbroken old man tries to fullfil his promise to his late-wife to have their house at the top of Paradise Falls. They didn't have a chance when they were younger because of other things pop up in life, which is so true now aday. It reminds me of the good old days where married couple stayed together forever. I love this movie. Disney Pixar did a great job in character development and plot advancement.
