Summary of this DVD... | ||
Walt Disney was a man ahead of his time and this production shows how his dream is still alive. This is a colorful story full of nature, the fight between good and evil. Two children, Carl and Elly meet in Elly's Clubhouse where the adventure begins. Elly keeps a scrapbook with the goal in life to see Paradise Falls in South America. The story continues through their life, through marriage and the regular pit falls we all experience. This movie is something everyone can learn from not just the youth. After watching this you come away with several valuable lessons. Although we may think we don't reach our goals in life the adventure is right in front of us if we'll just open all open our eyes through this movie we are given the opportunity to realize this lesson.
This type of DVD is good for...
This DVD teaches ages 6-96 about life. You should enjoy the life you have not the one in your dreams. We should all seek goals but don't miss what's right in front of you. You could be missing out on what's a hand instead of what you think you should be doing.
I especially liked... | ||
The message in Ellie's scrapbook to her husband, "Now go and have your own adventure." He doesn't look to see that message until much later in the movie. He's too concern with holding on to Ellie's house and things.
I didn't like... | ||
There wasn't anything in the video I didn't like!
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Write the story of my own life adventure although it too, wasn't what I planned. Like the wise John Lennon said, "Life happens while you are busy making other plans."
This DVD made me feel...
Hopeful of my future as an elderly person.
The cast of this DVD... | ||
Ed Asner and a hosts of other actors.
I recommend this DVD because...
It appeals to all generations, both young and old. It's Disney through and through. Where on earth can you find a grown man wearing Mickey Mouse ears? DisneyWorld or Disney Land!
Further Comments... | ||
I'm 55 years young and after watching this at my daughter's apartment I decided I had to have my own copy to watch over and over again. My husband loves the video and my children who are ages 27 and 30 also admire the movie.
