Summary of this DVD...
The follow-up to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who reprises the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne in his continuing war on crime. With the help of Lt. Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. The triumvirate proves effective, but soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker, who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces Batman closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante. Heath Ledger stars as archvillain The Joker, and Aaron Eckhart plays Dent. Maggie Gyllenhaal joins the cast as Rachel Dawes. Returning from Batman Begins are Gary Oldman as Gordon, Michael Caine as Alfred and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox. {back)
This type of DVD is good for...
Action fans, everyone 13 and up, for Ledgar (wonderful and missed) portrays the dark, intriging mastermind, of demented hunor perfectly and almost too realistic for small children for sure.
I especially liked...
Ledgar (Joker) the opening hooks you tangled, frayed, screaming for freedom, and keeps you thrilled right till the end.
I didn't like...
Nothing! This is the best made of any Batman movie to date, not dark, poorly directed like so many before.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Cry for Heath Ledgar death, this was his last completed role, before his self destructive death.
This DVD made me feel...
Bonded to the Joker, you really could realte to him as he is portrayed in this movie.
The cast of this DVD...
Christain Bale. (Wayne/Batman) Aaron Eckhart (Harvy Dent/Two Face) Gary Oldman (Jim Gordon) a huge amazing talent pool.
I recommend this DVD because...
If you enjoy comic heroes put to film, this is a rollercoaster of sipiraling emotions, debated between good and evil, and how mankind cannot chnage but one person can and be hunted, be the Dark Dark for beiog Gotham's salvation.
