A strange man with a stranger set of gifts, short order cook Odd Thomas can see the dead. He does his best to help, but it is difficult, as they cannot talk.

That's not all he sees- wraith like entities haunt his world, foretelling death and disaster. 3 is considered imminent death. When Odd sees a man with no less then twenty, he knows that he must act, as everything he loves is likely at stake.

Anyone who has ever read a book, ever. It is a wonderful novel with addicting characters that keeps you turning page after page, unable to wait to see what happens next. Especially great for graphic adventure/thriller fans.

One scene described a room so filled with darkness, that light could not penetrate the doorway. Whilst in it, Odd finds himself transported through time. I enjoyed the metaphors this scene carried, as well as the humorous characters in an otherwise serious book.

Read it over and over again- and I have!
