This is a great rollicking family, the Mackenzies, by Linda Howard. This author is just one of my favorites ever. The characters smoke, the love scenes are hot, the emotions are well portrayed and real, the scenery of beautiful Wyoming are lovely, and there are cowboys, Indians, gorgeous physicists, mousy teachers, cocky jet pilots....these books have it all.


This one starts the whole saga, with Wolf Mackenzie, a half breed, falls in love with the mousy teacher from Down South. The teacher, Mary, falls in love with the dark, moody and handsome Wolf and his son who has a love of flying and no where to go with it.

Anyone who loves a really good romance.

All of it.

That it stops with the second generation. I wanted to know what happens with the grand kids

Read all of them. Which I did. Then I read them all over again.

Linda Howard is one of the best, most real, imaginative, creative and down to earth writers of this decade.

You fall in love with the characters and you care about them like they were your own family. Sometimes, you want to be a part of their family!
