Summary of this Video Game...
The "Mist" has covered the world of Legaia. Everything it touches goes mad and turns into "Seru", evil monsters which feed on other living beings. Hardly any have survived this evil Mist. In order to stay alive, most have had to go into hiding where the Mist cannot reach. Though they thought they were finally safe, the Mist has brought new enemies which have destroyed their hope of a somewhat peaceful life.

In the town of Rim Elm, a young man named Vahn is the last surviving hope for the people of Legaia. He will face new foes and create new bonds of friendship on his long journey. With the help of his friends, he sets off to restore the seven genesis trees--the only thing on the planet Legaia that is able to get rid of the Mist.
This type of Video Game is good for...
It's great for people just getting interested in video games. It does have some bad words in it, but nothing too vulgar. It's a wonderful and somewhat relaxing game. Great for beginners and veterans alike.
I especially liked...
I really liked the graphics. Sure, they're poor compared to PS3/Wii/Xbox360, etc... but for a PS1 I thought they were fantastic. They are especially good during battles and in the few cinema scenes (there are only like 2). The battle system is also something I adored. As you gain new gear, your character will show this gear off in battle. In other words, you'll be able to see your new weapons and clothes during fights. You can also see and discover some totally awesome martial art moves.
I didn't like...
I felt that Vahn (the main character) could have had even more choices to choose from throughout the game. Basically, YOU are him, so whenever he's talking to people you get to choose what he says. I wished some of his decisions had a little more impact. Also, the leveling is a tad slow.
When I finished playing this Video Game I wanted to...
I wanted to play it again! It's that great of a game. It was one of the first games I've ever played, and I still continue to replay it every now and then.
This Video Game made me feel...
It made me feel sad, at the end... because it was all over! But it also made me happy because I could pick, in a sense, how Vahn ended up. The game made me excited, sad, happy, and mad throughout the entire course of gameplay. It has such a fun storyline, which has its happy and sad moments like any other story.
I recommend this Video Game because...
It's fun, interactive, and has a great story line. It's also easy to get used to and play. In other words, it's a CLASSIC of the PS1. A must have for all RPG lovers.
Further Comments...
This has and always will be my favorite RPG video game, no matter what comes out on the market. It was the first game I've ever played, and it will continue to be the LAST game I ever play.

Some extras it contains: Fishing, trying to collect EVERYTHING in the game, some unique set ups, clothing, dancing, and a gambling room! Not to mention, you get to somewhat choose how it ends for Vahn.
