Microbiology - A Human Perspective - is a textbook that deals with the microscopic level of biology. Microorganisms are discussed in detail from bacteria to fungi, including its morphology and effects on society - both good and bad. Protection against such bacteria/viruses are discussed, as well as indepth looks into a wide range diseases and medicines created to deal with such situations.

Students who intend to pursue a career in the medical field - or just someone curious to know more about the 'invisible' organisms that are responsible for so much.

The attempts by the authors to give readers an indepth look into each topic/section.

The images/illustrations (although helpful) are not as good or clear as I would have liked. Some make a supposedly simple topic a bit more difficult to understand.

Sell it and get my money back.

It is definitely helpful and covers a wide range of topics - most interesting is the look at the diseases caused by some microorganisms and how they can be prevented.

If you're a visual learner, it might leave you wanting more.
