"Creation in Death" tells the story of the search for The Groom before he is able to get away with murder once more.

Fans of crime and mystery novels can appreciate the mystery in this novel. Fans of Nora Roberts (here writing as J.D. Robb) will also enjoy the work of fiction.

The story and plot kept my interest right up to the climactic ending. I raced through the book to find out what would happen next. I liked that this futuristic novel included some futuristic gadgets and ideas, but it wasn't overdone. It felt just right.

The novel, however, was a tad predictable and (in my humble opinion) nothing special. It's a good, fun read, but it isn't spectacular in any way.

Nora Roberts is one of our most prolific novelists in contemporary times. She's written nearly 50 novels, plus another 27 under the name J.D. Robb.

I found Creation in Death to be a decent Summer read. It's not exactly light subject matter (with details of torture, brutality and murder), but it's a thrilling, fun read. Don't look for deep meaning in this novel, but it's worth a look if you're in the mood for an average contemporary fiction novel.
