Summary of this Book...
Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. The earth has been invaded by a species that take over the minds of their human hosts while leaving their bodies intact, and most of humanity has succumbed.

Wanderer, the invading "soul" who has been given Melanie's body, knew about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the too vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind.

Melanie fills Wanderer's thoughts with visions of the man Melanie loves-Jared, a human who still lives in hiding. Unable to separate herself from her body's desires, Wanderer yearns for a man she's never met. As outside forces make Wanderer and Melanie unwilling allies, they set off to search for the man they both love.
This type of Book is good for...
It's a fictional novel that follows through two points of view. One of a human being's and the other of an alien life force. It's a good story if you're just looking for a moving piece. It also shows a lot of insight into different approaches and the basics of what being human means. It's got everything you would want out of a novel.
I especially liked...
I liked how human the alien life actually became once they were inserted into their hosts. They began to take on their hosts' personalities and characteristics. They also began to feel emotion as a human would. It was great to see how the alien life may perhaps have been proven wrong or surprised by the amount of fight we humans have in us.
I didn't like...
I didn't like the fact that it had to end! It was a terrific story and it definitely makes one think about life in general. All though it is a sci-fi novel, it is more than believable.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
I wanted to write. My creativity had been juiced up and I was just overflowing with ideas and feelings that I had to put onto paper.
This Book made me feel...
Every emotion possible.
The author of this Book...
Really has a good hold on what life really is about and how to bring characters to life. She can make them so vivid in a reader's mind that the reader may very well think he or she can touch the characters!
I recommend this Book because...
It's an all around great story. It's a story we've all wanted to tell but were not quite sure on how to put it.
