Summary of this DVD... | ||
Set in New South Wales, "Jindabyne" explores the fallout of a fishing trip by four men who, after discovering a young Aboriginal woman's body in the river, continue with their weekend of camping and fishing. Upon returning home, their community is shocked, as are their families. The character played by Laura Linney struggles to understand how her husband, played by Gabriel Byrne, could have exhibited such cold behavior. She reaches out to the girl's family, and even though both sides resist, she attempts to bring together a divided community. | ||
