Summary of this Book...
Wouldn't we all like to be torn between two men? Where that is where Anita Blake finds herself in this third novel in the Anita Blake series...sort of. We catch up to Anita were she has already received two marks from the Master of the City, Jean Claude, and he is all too anxious to give her a third and make Anita his human servant for all time. Then a new century old vampire strolls into town and begins attacking humans and threatning to take control of the city. Throw in a cold hearted vampire hunting blast from the past and you have all the ingredients to a non-stop adventure packed, erotic third novel sure to keep your blood racing and leave you thirsting for more.
This type of Book is good for...
An escape from reality, where energy, magic, and the impossible happen everyday.
I especially liked... | ||
The imagery that Hamilton uses to make you feel the breath on your neck when Alejondro is whispering sweet nothings of death in Anita's ear. With each work that hit paper you feel it. I also like that the tone is real. I can really relate to Anita's personality.

When I find something I don't like, I'll let you know.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...

This Book made me feel...
Excited. I walked away with a rush from both the satisfying reading experience and the anticipation of where Hamilton would take me next.
The author of this Book...
understands the need to take fantasy and make it appear real to some readers. I'm not really into sci-fi novels, but Hamilton makes you see how what is happening could actually be seen as "normal" everyday life.
I recommend this Book because...
It's just a great read. | ||
