The authors graphic discription and flow
I didn't like... | ||
There were a few chapters that slowed and became repeatitive.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Escape and travel. Be alone with myself
This Book made me feel...
More aware, happy and sad for his situation.
The author of this Book...
You already may know Neil Peart but not as author but as musician. He has been the drummer for the Canadian rock group Rush for more than thirty years. I have been a fan for most of those years. Peart's story telling abilities are just as telling as are his lyrical abilities.
I recommend this Book because...
For those looking for an original perspective towards a common occurance- loss.
I don't recommend this Book because...
I can't think of one good reason.
Further Comments... | ||
Both me and a female friend read this book and she walked away feeling anger towards Peart. A womans perspective that he didn't grive long enough.
