My favorite thing is the short chapters. Each chapter is just a few pages long. You do not have to read the chapters in order for the book to make sense. | ||

There were not enough writing exercises listed in the book. It was mainly Natalie Goldberg telling you how to write. She should have included more exercises for the reader to complete. | ||

Natalie Goldberg wrote this book over 20 years ago. I was first assigned to read it 12 years ago. The advice in this book is still just as idea inspiring today as it was in 1986! | ||
