Summary of this Book...
This is the story of Ray Jackson who has a troubled but mundane life. He and his wife go through many changes as the years have passed. One of the main topics that keeps coming up is children. He avoids it and she wants to keep discussing it. The arguments keeping coming and coming, until one day she is gone and no one knows what happened. There are mystery clues all over the place and threats made by her father accusing Ray of doing something to her. Later on he comes across a set of keys, not sure what they are used for, he turns to his mother and finds many secrets regarding his past. In doing this he is able to reevaluate his life and his relationship with his wife.
This type of Book is good for...
Anyone who likes a mystery that is mixed with thrilling elements.
I especially liked...
That in this story it was not just a mystery, but an emotional journey for the main character. Ray Jackson was a complex character with so many layers. It was interesting to find out more about him.
The author of this Book...
The authors of this book are sisters with loads of experience in law and writing. They are known for their Nina Riley series about a female attorney. This took them away from that series and made a whole new novel, full of life and intrigue.
I recommend this Book because...
I recommend this book because it shows the human emotion at its core. There are so many times I felt for Ray and his turmoils in his life. It is a good book for a good story and a better book for a good emotional basis to see what others may go through.
