Summary of this Book...
This book shows the problems in Israel that occur between the Palestinians and the Jews. In a strange turn of events the Prime Minister of Isreal is victim to a suicide bomber on American soil. A Palestinian woman, Hana, who happened to be in America at the time of the bombing was accused of the murder. Hana had studied at Harvard in college with David Wolfe, who was now a successful lawyer on the fast track to politics in California. David has to decide whether his career in politics is more important than the possible death sentence of an old friend.
This type of Book is good for...
This book is real fiction. You can see that all the events and places were carefully researched by the author. If you want a deeper glimpse into the state of affairs in Israel, and see the kind of things that happen, this is a good book for you to pick up.
I especially liked...
The passion of the attorney, David Wolfe as he went to Israel to find more information regarding the assassination of the Prime Minister.
I didn't like...
The beginning of the book was a bit slow starting for me.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Learn more about the state of affairs in Israel. I did a lot of internet research regarding the groups that reside there and the nature of the military, and I found the book to be very much on point with historic events, and places in Israel.
This Book made me feel...
I felt that I wanted to learn more about the things I discoverd in this book. I wanted to resesarch to see if there were certain terrorist groups or activities in Israel. I wanted to see if The West Bank was as bad as it was portrayed to be.
The author of this Book...
Richard North Patterson certainly did his homework when researching the land, history and characters from Isreal.
I recommend this Book because...
Exile is an interesting read, with many twists and turns. There are also a few surprises that you would never expect.
