Summary of this Book...
This is a collection of, well, drivel from comedian Steve Martin. It's akin to the kind of stuff most writers have stashed in spirals in between the "real" stories. A lot of the items in the collection are almost like notes of stories, but it is still entertaining. Martin's voice is unmistakable throughout.
This type of Book is good for...
Unwinding. The stories are short and light and entertaining. A good snack in the world of reading.
I especially liked... | |||
The haphazard way this seemed to be thrown together. It's a little sloppy, but enjoyable.
I recommend this Book because...
Everyone needs a "break" from the deep and serious books we read and these snippets really hit the mark. I'm sure some could argue there was a deeper meaning here that I missed, but to you, I say, Ha! That's pure drivel!
