The 5th novel in a great series. The assassin with a heart of gold, John Rain is back with an even better story to tell.

John Rain has found out that he has fathered a child with his former love Midori Kawamura. John found out from a close friend as Midori was not letting the news reach John.

With a new mission to see his child and finally get out of this life of killing he travels New York and gets in a whole new mess of trouble.

It seems that an old enemy is watching the mother and the baby, hoping that John Rain would show up. When he does this old enemy would like to take John Rain out of the picture for good.

Anyone who likes an action filled read that is meant to be read without stopping. It is a great mystery, action, thriller, and romance novel all tied up in one novel.

The humor between some of the characters. They are written like they are actual people and you almost believe that you are just watching them and not reading a fiction novel.

Read teh next in the series. But sad to say that it does not come out until next June. I do have the First four novels to keep me company until then.

If I could take a box of books to an uncharted island then this would be one of them. That is how great a read this series is.
