Summary of this Book...
The Devil's Chaplain is a phrase first coined by Charles Darwin. This book is a collection of essays by the Charles Simonoyi Professor of the Public Understanding of Science at Oxford University. Dawkins explains in clear language how nature works. He discusses science, genetics, ethics, postmodern intellectualism, human chauvenism and mental viruses. This book explains the facts, opinions and misunderstandings surrounding the theory of evolution, and general science. There are also essays about education, ethics, history of science and personal tributes. The essays are short, and very easy to read.
