Summary of this Book...
The story of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. This was undoubtedly one of the oddest, but sweetest, romances I have read in some time. The heroine is not particularly engaging. Infact, she's terribly ordinary. At least that's what you see at first. And that's what Colin has been seeing for 11 years. And their love does not bloom spontaneously- no lightening bolts. It simply starts as a smile and slowly builds into what we all know as undying love. *sigh* Applause for Julia Quinn! She took the formulaic romance and turned it on its ear, appealing to the wallflower in all of us.
The author of this Book...
Most of Julia Quinn's works are known for their clever wit and repartee. That was missing in this book. But, it was most appropriate for these lovers.
Further Comments... | ||
Read this one! Especially if you're a fan of Miss Quinn. It was refreshing and engaging. I was cheering at the grand finale
