We join Roland of Gilead and his Gunslinger companions in the 5th volume of their quest for the Dark Tower. As they travel along the Beam, they come upon a town that is in need. This particular town has a large occurance of twins, and once every generation the Wolves ride in from Thuderclap and take one child from each of the set of twins. Some months later, they are returned in a "roont" state. Roland and his friends try to save this town from the Wolves, all while trying to continue on their quest to the Dark Tower. | ||

This book is good for getting lost in. It was the best one of the series, so far. I was absolutely into the story and didn't want to put the book down until I had read the very last page. | ||
