Summary of this Book...
Coffee & Kung Fu is the story of Nicci, a lonely, sarcastic, Jackie Chan fan who discovers that having people that care about you is the point of life.
This type of Book is good for...
people who enjoy dry humor and romantic revelations. And Kung Fu movies.
I especially liked... | ||
the main character. I found myself relating to Nicci more than I wanted to admit.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
read the sequal. Too bad there isn't one.
This Book made me feel...
... It made me feel. That can't be said for too many books of this genre. I related to the main character, and I felt her feelings right along with her.
The author of this Book...
writes like she is talking to you, rather than composing a letter to someone important.
I recommend this Book because...
it's funny, and has feelings.
Further Comments... | ||
This book had good characterization. Not only was the main character a "real person", but every other character was real too. The relationships Nicci has with the other characters are well portrayed and realistic. I have a feeling that all the characters exist somewhere in the author's life.
