Arthur Dent lived comfortably in England with his cat. Then one day his friend of five years, Ford Prefect, told him that he was not from Guilford, and was infact from the distant galaxy of Betelgeuse. Now, after hitching a ride on a Vogon spaceship, they have travelled over many millions of miles and with the help of friends have saved the universe more than once.

Anyone who loves comedy or sciencefiction.

The way the author was able to create the feeling of hilarity in even dire situations.

It could be slightly confusing when discussing time travel or eddies or the time-space continuum.

Read it again! And I did!

Happy, annoyed at certain characters, and sometimes confused.

Is fantastic! He must've had an incredible sense of humour and quite the imagination to create such a masterpiece.

It makes you feel much better about your own life in comparison to the characters'.

If you read the first book (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) you cannot just stop there. You must also read 'The Restaurant at the End of the Universe', 'Life, the Universe and Everything', 'So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish', and lastly 'Young Zaphod Plays It Safe.' To read one book and not the others is like.....Lays potato chips, betcha can't eat (read) just one!
