Summary of this Book...
I have been a fan of Perry Mason and Star Trek for many years. Imagine how pleased I was to hear Ingersoll and Isabella were writing a Perry Mason-style Star Trek book. The Case of the Colonist's Corpse stars Sam T. Cogley, Attorney at Law; the book-loving attorney who proved Captain Kirk's innocence in the classic episode "Court Martial". As the title would imply, the story centers around the murder of the leader of a Federation colony - by a Klingon! But did the accused really commit the crime or was he framed? Sam T. Cogley is about to find out.
This type of Book is good for...
Anyone who likes the style of older mystery and suspense novels. Pocket Books even used red ink along the book edges, just like the old pulp novels.
I didn't like... | ||
Guest appearances by Kirk and company. I realize Paramount requires that members of the Star Trek cast appear somewhere in the novel, but I'm really getting sick of it. Luckily, the authors were able to keep the appearances to a minimum.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Grab an old Perry Mason novel.
