Summary of this Book...
In the Dordogne Valley, a group of archealogy students finds a manuscript and the compound eyeglass lense that they intially think is site contamination, but tests confirm that the objects date back to the year 1357. On top of that, written on the manuscript are the words "Help Me!" and the message is signed by the student's proffessor. The students are then taken to a lab in the desert and given some key answers to the puzzle. The lab is home to a device that lets the scientists fax people through time using quantum technology. The students agree to go back in time to save their proffessor, but the machine is damaged during the first few seconds of their arrival in 1357 and the students find themselves stuck in the past.

Andre Marek, a modern day warrior and junior proffessor, is one of the greatest characters in any book ever written. He is the true hero of this story.

See it made into a movie, so the rest of the world, those who never pick up a book, could enjoy this story.

It's just so much fun. | ||
Further Comments... | ||
I'm anxious to see the movie that's coming out this November. I want to see what they do with it. If they destroy it, I'll be quite miffed. If they do a good job with it, I'll be right with the world. I'm kind of apprehensive since Paul Walker has been cast in the lead. But Gerard Butler, my favorite up and comer, is playing Andre Marek and that's just who I would have chosen to play the part.
