I especially liked... | ||
that Ken allows you a brief glimpse into the everyday lives of hockey players without stripping away the aura of mysticism that some fans feel surrounds them. You gain a sympathy for their very public lives.
I recommend this Book because...
it's a good read. You won't want to put it down.
Further Comments... | ||
This is a well written, discriptive book. It's entertaining on both the intellectual and emotional levels. Ken is a craftsman of words and you can almost see each scene as it develops, feel each emotion he describes. This is a must read for anyone, but especially for the hockey fan who wants to understand the heart of a player just that little bit better.
