Summary of this Book...
An american science outpost in the Antartic finds out that an alien lifeform with the ability to look like anyone has begun to take on human form. It can mimic us perfectly, down to our memories and personality. The only drawback is that once your are assimilated you are killed. The post started out with 12 men, and one by one thier numbers dwindled. Now the only problem is who to trust, and who will be the last survivor. They must find out who is who and make a last ditch effort to save humanity before the creature finds a way into the populated world.

Further Comments... | ||
The book is great but I do like watching the movie better. The effects are just sooo cool. Add the scary music, and you get a classic. To this day if I have not watched it in a while, I tend to forget who is who. I jump like a little girl when the monster shows up on screen.
