Summary of this Book...
I've explained the first two parts, here's the last two parts. Part 3 opens into 2371 where the Maquis, a rebel group who were later wiped out by the Dominion in 2375, find out some news about some Cardassian worlds having some very dangerous weather problems. When they go to investigate, and end up finding out that Starfleet is already there, they find out that one of their own is using one of the artifacts to cause killer weather. After they solve that, the scene jumps one last to...

...2376 and it's just after the War has ended. Admiral McCoy is headed for a conferance, if I remember right, I was falling asleep by then, and he starts to behave very strangely. The same happens with Spock, the captain of the Starfleet ship in the third part and also Kira Nerys. After some battles and Worf helping Spock out to fix everything, the story then ends at last. Oh and it's the last of the artifacts as well, it controls the mind.
I especially liked...
Well...not a lot of it. The Next Gen part seemed very cut up and the Voyager part really felt lacking in so much, it's a shame.
I didn't like...
The feel of the story, it felt tacked on again, as if the author really wanted to finish this and more onto something better, which could explain why his SCE stories are so good.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read some DS9 or do something, anything that would wake me up. I was so disappointed.
This Book made me feel...
Bored and tired, his SCE was so much better then this. What a pity of a story that could have been great.
The author of this Book...
Has written quite a lot, he's mostly done short stories and they're great, his bigger books take some getting into.
I recommend this Book because...
Well it might be something you like, I am after all only giving my opinion, it does have some good ideas, it just feels so rushed.
I don't recommend this Book because...
It's boring, pure and simple. I just couldn't get myself to enjoy the book and through every word I kept wishing for a DS9 book and the next bit of the new series.
Further Comments...
I was disappointed, I was hoping for even a semi-good read but this had me so bored and I love Star Trek. I hope the next story like this is better, I really do.
