Summary of this Book...
This is a magical/mystical world called Xanth where a Harpy/Goblin girl named Gloha, goes on a quest to find her ideal man hopefully one of her species. The only problem is she is one of a kind. Along the way of her quest she meets a retired Magician who is temporarly youthand, a demoness who is looking for love, a walking skeleton who is looking for a half soul, a cenature filly who is looking for more of her kind, and a giant Graeboe who is hoping to get cured of a blood clog deasease. All of these people are able to help her accomplish her quest, but she didn't find a man of her species. She found one of a different one. The species was... you have to read to find out.
I especially liked...
The different parts of the quest, it was so life-like. I felt like i was in the story.
I didn't like...
How in the beginning it was kind of boring but don't let that fool you after the first 50 pages it is full force from there
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Definatly read it again. Only problem was there was a waiting list on it at the library. So I couldn't so I went out and bought it then I read it again.
This Book made me feel...
Happy because it had a very happy ending. And I love happy endings.
The author of this Book...
Is a great one. He has writen many of books in the Xanth series. My best friend has read all of them, I have only read a couple. Some other books by Piers Anthony are; A spell for Chameleon, Question Quest, Source of Magic, Castle Roogna, Cenataur Isle, Ogre Ogre, Night Mare, Dragon on a Pedistal, Golem in the Gears, Vale of the Vole, Heaven Cent, Man from Mundania, Isle of View, Question Quest, Color of her Panties, Demonds don't Dream, Geis of the Gargoyle, Faun and Games, Zombie Lover, Crewel Lye: A Caustic Yarn, Roc and a Hard Place, these aren't all of them just all of the ones I can think of.
I recommend this Book because...
It was awesome, it kept me reading, and reading. I was on vacation while I was reading this and my mom asked me if I wanted to go swimming and I said "no" because I am reading the book. FYI I love to swim so the book must have been good.
I don't recommend this Book because...
It has a slow beginning, but once you get started you can't put it down. Well at least I couldn't
Further Comments...
You should read this book and other books from Piers Anthony because he is a great authur and this book is the best!
