The McGillnen saga continues wtih Ryan finding the one woman who captures his heart. Oak Twig and her adoptive father and his people come to Geneva's Branch to start a new life. Not only do they find a place to call home, but she finds love and her natural parents whom she hasn't seen since she was kidnapped by the Crow ten years ago.

The humor is great. And I like the way that the native americans are protrayed as normal people instead of grunting savages.

that it would have been wonderful if we had treaded native americans as people. It's too bad that there really wasn't a family like the McGillinen's or a whole bunch of them a hundred andf fifty years ago.

obviously did a lot of research on native americans and cares about them.

It's a wonderful story full of humor but it's also a history lesson in story form.
