a gifted child named Josh that joins a school exclusive to child-geniuses like himself. He finally fits in with the other kids, and makes friends. Then some of his friends mysteriously start committing suicide, and it is up to Josh to figure out why, and where they really go. | ||

the fast pace of the book. Not a dull moment anywhere, it was packed with info that kept me thinking. | ||

the disappearance of the teacher. Since the body was never found, I expected him to come back at the end. | ||

it's a fast read, with surprises around every corner. | ||

This is only the 2nd John Saul book I've read. His books grab you right from the start, and make you hate to set it down. I also appreciate how he can weave a tale of terror without overuse of profanity and sexual undertones. It's a great tale that also makes me think. | ||
