Summary of this Book...
I enjoyed reading this book, it has a stream of interesting characters and a pretty good plot. The story centers around Lilah. She's somewhat of an attention-seeker—always wanting everyone's eyes on her. Perhaps, it's because she was raised as a famous actress's child, who always relished attention herself. Even after years of being out of the spotlight, Lilah's mother still finds ways to keep the eyes and gossip on her. But Lilah, a gorgeous, eccentric health spa owner, of one of the most prestigious health spas around, gives her mom a good run for her money. The health spa has an interesting cast of characters: a self-absorbed man who teaches various exercise classes and loves nothing more than to watch himself right after on tape. His sister works there as well. She has a bit of a wound-up personality but loves her brother very much. She'd do just about anything for him. To say they share a close relationship is an understatement. Detective Decker enters the scene when Lilah is found in her own home raped, beaten, and robbed. She is unconscious when Decker arrives, but her grip on Decker's hand is still strong. When Decker visits her in the hospital, she tells him that she remembers the men well enough to give surprisingly detailed descriptions, even though she was wearing a blindfold from the start. She lets out the secret that she's psychic, so she sees them with her third eye. Lilah forms an unhealthy attachment to Decker. She demands his constant time and attention, leading to some dramatic moments. Then there are the things that Lilah predicted Decker would see come to fruition, and he starts to wonder if there really is something to her visions. The story takes you down unexpected slight twists, turns, and even murder. Will Decker be able to figure out what all this means and how it is all connected?
