Secrets of the Cottage by the Sea is a sweet love story that spans generations. It's about losing family and, by uncovering secrets, finding family. This book had me riveted from the very first chapter. Moving back and forth between past and present accounts enhanced the mystery. I was intrigued and enthralled by the happenings of this island community, and particularly this one family. There was much sadness and joy, which made the family real. I would recommend this book to others to read.

did a superb job of writing an exciting mystery.
