Summary of this Book...
In this installment in the series, a young teenager is convicted of killing her newborn baby, and Ashley is defending her. The townspeople all want to see her convicted, as they believe she is guilty and it appears that she is. But Ashley and her good friend Officer Katie Mickey, believe she is innocent. They have quite a job ahead of them, trying to get any information out of the very shy, very skittish teenager, Rachael Smithson, her equally as skittish mother and her domineering father. I didn't find Book 2 as exciting as Book 1.
I especially liked... | ||
that at one point Rachael and Ashly (the public defendant) weren't working toward the same end. Time was ticking fast, and they had to find the evidence they needed, and then lock a certain person up, for Rachael to feel safe.
I didn't like... | ||
that at times there was a flooding of information that made passages boring and difficult to get through. This book also had a lot of personal crises that got in way of the primary story.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
move onto Book 3 | ||
I recommend this Book because...
the storyline is a good one.
