The characters are memorable, the story dramatic, and the writing keeps the reader interested in a town that has a king: football.

I enjoyed reading all of this book, especially getting to know the different characters and their lives as the story showed me what happened during football season and after the different team members graduated high school.

I wanted to read another John Grisham book.

I felt like I was in the story. I could clearly see the scenes, and characters, and feel the emotions.

The story plot is realistic, characters and and scenes are easy to be involved in as a reader takes in this story.

This is a nice story of courage, love, and hate, and a town that feels a great loss and gathers together to remember the past and present, and for some find forgiveness.

This book is not a legal story, but a small town, football team, and how everyone feels about the coach, the team, and eventually themselves. It is different from the stories about law firms and criminals.

I enjoyed the writing style, the way the characters were presented, and the plot about the town, football, and how everyone gathered together to support the team.
