Hero Dogs tells true stories about working dogs who are of various breeds and have different skills. Their variety of skills, devotion to duty, and intelligence brought out through their training are shown in detail.

Many of the stories feature service dogs who diligently work with their human partners day and night as needed. Some of these dogs alert to sounds for deaf and hard of hearing persons, others alert for medical issues, and some help people with physical challenges such as people who use wheelchairs.

If you love dogs this book is a treasure for you to enjoy.

Anyone who loves dogs is interested in the different jobs dogs do with human partners, and who also is interested in disABILITIES.

I liked all of this book, but especially the part about service dogs.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Because I'm in-between service dogs I wanted to find a dog to train for hearing impairments and mobility challenges.

I felt like training another service dog.

This book is uplifting and a great testimony and honor for dogs.

I like dogs and for anyone interested in jobs dogs do this is a good overview of these jobs.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes animals, but if you are not interested in animals perhaps another book would be a better choice.
