The person with a good reputation is arrested for a horrible crime and people are stunned. Police investigation reveals that there is no doubt about who did it and one person in particular is anxious for justice to be carried out.

A few people discover things are not as they seem and begin searching for the truth. Evidence is uncovered that causes questions to be asked and answers to be sought. Events that are unbelievable occur. Some witnesses begin to have doubts about their stories. A small team of investigators follows the trail until they find the answers. They find what they kind of expected but are still surprised by their encounter.

Readers who enjoy mysteries, horror, crime, and characters who are engaged and active will enjoy this book. Twists and turns will keep the reader taking in each word as they wonder what's next.

I enjoyed the mystery and characters because it was like investigating for myself with a team of top-notch investigators. I was in the story and there was nothing to distract me.

I was uneasy when a particular character was confronted. This character is not likable.

When I finished reading this book I looked for the next Stephen King book to read. I also was thankful for my many blessings and God's protection.

Sometimes I felt sad, sometimes I felt like "Get that sucker", Sometimes I felt like I wanted to get away, and eventually I felt satisfied when I reached the end of the book.

The part of the book that tells about the obvious criminal is realistic and the other part of this book is something for the imagination to work with and deal with.

This book is an exciting adventure that takes the reader through twists and turns and shows scenes, characters, and actions that the reader can relate to. The plot is mysterious, detailed, and well-shown to the reader.

There are scenes not for the faint of heart, but they are necessary and worth reading because this is a very good story.

Some characters are likable, some not so much, and one is dangerously unlikable.
