This Story covers several generations of the Buendia family who are responsible for founding a village called Macondo. The characters go through a lot enduring wars, romances and separations as we see the perspective of several characters in that family throughout their lives.

It is good writing and the story is enjoyable to go through. Each character has their own life experience to share.

The Genre this story is in is a style called Magical Realism. Where fictional exotic events are told in a realistic way.

This book a lot of things you will see in fiction such as premonitions, curses and magic but it is told in such a realistic way that it is easy to forget you are not reading a biography about this family.

It is a really great book and beautifully written
