Summary of this Book...
This is another of Amazon's "Cute-Meet" series, which is a cozy romantic short story (I think there are some comical references to sex, but I don't think there was any foul language. I think there might be a chaste kiss somewhere near the end–hopefully that's not a spoiler, because you know, it's that kind of book. Happy ending guaranteed.

Worst Wingman Ever is another take on two people getting to know each other through notes and kind gestures but never meeting one another–while seeing (and admiring) one another on chance meetings.

While the romantic leads are getting to know each other, the woman, a hospice nurse, cares for her grandmother as she's dying at home. You get to know her grandmother and a few female relatives, which gives the story a little zip–especially towards the end.

The "worst wingman" is a "handyman" who's spending his spare time helping his brother and sister-in-law get their new condo put together. Their relationship also adds some background and fun to the story.

Both characters are people who are more likely to take care of others before caring for themselves, which is something that they're working on changing and is part of what finally brings them together, face to face. This theme, which runs through the story, adds some good depth and makes the story more meaningful. And grandma is a character you're going to wish you'd known, too.
This type of Book is good for...
Lovers of cozy romances.
Further Comments...
This story had a good plot for both of the main characters. The reader gets to know each person for who they are separately, before they become involved with their love interest. I liked this aspect. It made me more emotionally involved and interested in both of them, and I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything when the story ended (which I often do with shorter stories). Overall a sweet short read for a cozy night inside by the fire (or out on the beach).
