This is the first in Evanovich's new series based on Gabriela Rose, a recovery agent. This book started out with a job and the moved on to a much more personal endeavor.

It's an action-packed, fast read. It's totally ridiculous and absolutely improbable to impossible, but Evanovich writes in an engaging way that lets you go along with the ride.

Fans of Janet Evanovich and her Stephanie Plum series. People who like action, mystery, thriller, romance gone wrong, crime or other fast-paced stories.

It was a fun, fast read and the action just kept coming. The parts that made me laugh out loud. I liked Gabriela from her intro in the Stephanie Plum series. She wasn't exactly as expected based on that but I still liked her. And her ex husband was a nice surprise. I expect that later in the series they'll be back together.

I personally think the book would have been better without the opening work-related adventure... especially the part that made the book have the higher rating. It wasn't necessary, but it did move quickly so at least the grossest part didn't last long.

Go to bed lol. I may have stayed up late to finish the book.

Like I was part of Gabriela's adventures... though I personally would have not just put the gross thing from the intro in my back pack.. she had Ziploc bags. I'd have used one of those. That was just ... gross. Hard to share more without giving it away.

It was a fun, quick read.

There was a lot of violence, some extreme violence, and some of it totally unnecessary.
