This is the complete Gospel of John, written by the disciple himself, but translated to modern words. It's a book of the Bible but pulled out especially to be read on its own.

My mom used to always recommend that new Christians start with it, and so do a lot of experts but I think Matthew or Luke would be easier for new Christians and non-Christian interested parties to appreciate.

There's a lot of symbolism and poetic language. It's beautiful, and I love reading it, every single time. I try to read all four gospels every year, even on years that I don't read the whole Bible through. They always bless me.

Reading Jesus Christ's actual words. This time I tried to read it with a special focus on His commands to us. I referenced www.gotquestions.org and other resources for some of the things I wanted more information about.

Pray more. So I did It has me thinking more about obeying Jesus Christ, living for Him and abiding in Him.
