Summary of this Book...
This is the action-packed seventh in Evanovich's Fox and O'Hare series. This fast-paced book was a fun and easy read. You really have to suspend a lot of disbelief but if that doesn't bother you, it's entertaining. I think this book took us to more countries than any of the previous ones did (chasing the world's biggest treasure by following a kind of historical and encoded trans-European scavenger hunt).

In this book Fox & O'Hare's dads are involved for most of the scenes so there's very little romantic time.

There's also this indestructible villain who surprised me at the end.

It was interesting and good and I enjoyed it, but it wasn't the best in the series. I haven't gone back to check but I think the first ones had a different co author (all had Janet Evanovich).
This type of Book is good for...
People who like a fun, fast-paced, adventurous read with interesting characters, people who like history /historical sites.
I especially liked...
This book, I thought the dads stole the show. Kate was strong and fierce and her diving skills proved essential to not only solving the case but surviving it. Nick was fun and creative.
I didn't like...
That I don't think any of it was remotely possible. That Kate got taken advantage of/given the slip so many times at the beginning. It was entertaining, but not as fun and funny as the Stephanie Plum novels Evanovich writes on her own.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Find out what happened next with the Foxes and O'Hares and Franz.
This Book made me feel...
Like I was part of the mystery and adventure.
The author of this Book...
From Amazon: "Over the last twenty-five years, Janet Evanovich has written a staggering twenty-four #1 New York Times bestsellers in the Stephanie Plum series. In addition to the Plum novels, Janet has coauthored the New York Times bestselling Fox and O’Hare series, the Knight and Moon series, the Lizzy and Diesel series, the Alexandra Barnaby novels, and the graphic novel, Troublemaker (with her daughter, Alex Evanovich).

Steve Hamilton is the two-time Edgar Award-winning and New York Times bestselling author of the Alex McKnight crime series, the Nick Mason series, and The Lock Artist. He has either won or been nominated for the Shamus Award, Barry Award, Anthony Award, Dashiell Hammett Prize, American Library Association Alex Award, CWA Gold Dagger, and the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger. "
I recommend this Book because...
If you can let go of the impossibility of most of what happens, it's a fun read.
Further Comments...
I borrowed a copy of this book from my local library. I think the wait list had over a hundred people on it.
