This book is essentially a theological presentation of what the novel coronavirus / covid19 pandemic might mean from a Biblical perspective. It's written in John Piper's traditional, no-nonsense, Bible-focused style.

No-nonsense doesn't mean impersonal to me. I think of it more as no fluff. He did include the story of his battle with cancer and how that related to the pandemic battle.

I found it to be encouraging and he applied some Scriptures that I hadn't considered in light of the pandemic. He also presented six theories, based on Scripture. The book ended with a moving prayer.

People, especially Christians, who want to know what the Bible has to say about the novel coronavirus.

The attention to staying true to the Bible and living for God's glory.

Pray more.
