This is a "love inspired" romantic suspense story about Adrianna and Brent. Adrianna is the sister of a drug cartel leader and Brent is a Texas ranger. Adrianna and Brent have a surprising past and soon after the book opens they meet up when he tracks her down for suspicion of murder and starting up her own cartel. The truth comes out and a lot of suspense is involved as far as what Adrianna's brother will do to get his hands on her and his missing drugs and money.

People who like Christian romantic suspense.

The Christian elements, the different cultures, the llamas, the strong female characters... the fast-paced action near the end.

Most of the story felt unbelievable. Parts of the book were too slow paced for me (for what I expect from a suspense novel).

Either read a sweet romance with no expectation of fast pace or a much faster-paced suspense novel.

The faith element is strong and at the end it gets very good.

I'm not sure if I bought this book or it was a gift. I found it on my "read and give away" shelf. I own the paperback version but do plan to either give it to a friend or donate it to charity now that I'm done with it.
