If you like a good mix of romance and suspense and don't mind staying up late to finish a book in one day, this might be a good fit.

This novella has a plot that is both sad and realistic. The characters are well developed and believable. I found myself cheering on the Moira in my head. I don't usually read books like this one. Since the author is a dear friend from childhood, I knew how important it was for her to get this story written and share it. Her way with words pulled me in from the beginning and I ended up finishing it after a few hours.

After I finished reading this book, the first thing I did was text Amanda (the author) and order her to complete the next one. However, she's always been the bossy one so yeah..

I went through many emotions as I read this book. Anger, fear, and pride are just a few.
