From start to finish, the plot is written in such a way that it was easy to be drawn into this believable nightmare. This book was difficult to read because the author has such a gift for drawing the reader into the complex world of marriage and parenting. Even though I was taken on an emotional roller coaster ride, I had to finish this book in one sitting.

My only complaint is that there isn't a sequel. I would love a follow up with the family to explore a resolution.

After reading this book I wiped the tears from my face and hugged my children.

This book evoked a myriad of emotions. Anger, fear, and hope took turns plucking at my heartstrings.

I recommend this book because it tells a powerful story that stayed with me for weeks after finishing. This is the type of book that really makes you stop and think.
