Summary of this Book...
In this 4th volume of Dean Koontz's Jane Hawk series, Jane continues trying to stay one step ahead of the Techno Arcadians, who are using their nanotechnology to try take over the world by injecting people with brain mind control chemicals. Some of the Arcadian’s highest members are hot on her heels though, and have split into 3 groups, one in search of her in-laws who have fled to Texas and whose son they killed by making it look like a suicide, one for Jane herself, and one to search for her 6 year old son, Travis, who is hidden away in Boreggo Springs, California with an awkward but kind man named Cornell Jasperson. If they can find Travis, they know Jane will give herself up. Jane has now asked for help from Bernie Riggowitz, an older man she befriended earlier, ironically by car jacking him as she was running from the Arcadians, and Luther Tillman, another friend. Together they manage to get to Travis just before the Arcadians, but with her enemies stopping every vehicle entering and leaving Borrego Valley, their escape is closer than she would have liked.

Anybody who loves an exciting thriller by one of the best writers in the world can’t miss reading this captivating series.
I especially liked... | ||
The way Koontz keeps the action moving from one page to the next. Like all of his books, you won’t be able to put this book down. I also like how he gives the reader a short preview from his next book in the series.
I didn't like... | ||
With the exception of his Frankenstein books, I’ve read all of Dean Koontz’s novels, and I can honestly say there’s not one I HAVEN'T enjoyed!
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
Go out and get the next (and final?) book of this incredible series, 'The Night Window'.
This Book made me feel...
That regardless of humanity might be changing, one person really can make a difference.
The n/a of this Book... | ||
Dean Koontz has been writing novels since the 80s, and most of them have been best selling New York Times best sellers. He's an incredible author, and one of my personal favorites. I'm always anxiously waiting for each of his next novels to come out!
Further Comments... | ||
This series is one my favorites, as well as his 'Odd Thomas' series, although those dealt with different story lines. But they all followed the main character 'Odd Thomas'.
