I am not entirely sure. The book does contain the basics of OneNote, but we're talking the very basics. Even then, it's significant shortcomings would make it difficult for people with no experience with the program to really want to dive in.

That it was not written for a tech audience. The language is plain and it clearly identifies that OneNote could be a useful program for the user.

I'm grateful that the e-book is cheap, since I definitely got burned in the purchase.

Reading a software book that did not include any screen images. If ever there was a time when "show, don't tell" was applicable, it would be in a book about something that is inherently visual.

In addition, for some reason the author thought that her slim volume about OneNote wasn't enough bulk for the book and "thoughtfully" included a bonus book on organization — but not of notebooks or computer files. Nope, just a random book on how to organize your clutter in your life.

Award 100 points to Hufflepuff, as clearly this book was written by someone from Slytherin.

Slightly perplexed, mostly annoyed and grateful for YouTube.

I'm not really sure as this seems to be the only book she has available. I guess technically it's two books, unfortunately neither are very strong in their respective areas.

In addition to everything I have already mentioned, you can get far better information on YouTube.

I highly recommend OneNote. It's one of those pieces of software that's been sitting on my computer doing nothing because I didn't understand it, and every time I played around with it, it seemed more trouble than it was worth.

One night during about of insomnia, I came across a random YouTube video about it and I was hooked. While there is no shortage of tutorials, some are much stronger than others. I'm happy to answer emails if you'd like to know which youtubers I found to be most effective.
