This is a slow-moving, predictable, and cliche YA horror novel. It was unimpressive... don't waste your time.

The characters didn't have unique voices and were all essentially the same cliche. First person narrative only works with a strong MC, and this book definitely didn't have that. Dated 90's references in a 2015 novel. The descriptions were repetitive and super boring. There were two big "twists" at the end... both were absolutely predictable and poorly written. Most of the climax is given away in the prologue, so it was fairly obvious that the novel was going to go this way... and it was a slow plodding course to get there. The ending was entirely unsatisfying.

Warn other people that it's garbage.

Bored... then annoyed.

Just don't.
