I've been tasked with writing a product review for a romance/erotica book or movie. I'm not a fan of either genre really, but I have watched lots of rom-coms. My husband loves them.

This is the first I thought of. It's a classic... a relatively modern class, but still a classic. The general theme is whether or not a man and woman can truly be "just friends". The movie's conclusion is basically a resounding NO.

Anyone who likes rom-coms and hasn't seen this one will love it, no doubt. Fans of Meg Ryan or Billy Crystal or Rob Reiner will like it.

Carrie Fisher is one of the co-stars. She's campy as heck.

The sappiness is not really my favorite thing, but it is what it is.

It gets referenced in pop culture all the time. You might as well watch it for that reason alone.
