I especially liked... | ||
This is based on a real event.
The author of this Book...
Did her research well. To write this book involved going to Iceland, reading records and visting the locations. This makes it all the more real.
Further Comments... | ||
It was well worth the impulse buy. I read it all in one day. A few parts made me cry. A few made me smile. I could greatly sympathize with Agnes and feel what she felt. The author really pulls a reader into the story. The writing is simple enough to make it possible to understand the difficult words but yet detailed enough to be able to see the scenery. This is more than a story. This is history.
